This is a brilliant film about two farmers with neighbouring farms in Devon. A quirky, compassionate, funny and beautiful film to watch at the edge of climate crisis. I saw it at the Sheffield Doc Fest earlier this year. I have so many reasons to really love it.

The film maker James Dawson is award winning and, I think you can tell, made it out of love. They took a few years over filming it. They are hoping to offer screenings to farmers to facilitate conversation about the issues it raises. In the meantime, whether you know farming from the inside or are as uninformed as I am, I think it’s an important, thought provoking and entertaining watch.

4 years ago, just pre-pandemic (September 2019), I set off on my travels around the world. Wow. Wasn’t that a thing? France, Portugal, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Switzerland. Such a gift.

My anti clockwise route to evade jet lag

Everywhere I went, I spoke with people about silence, connection with nature, and with women to encourage them to come into their own, and with everyone about climate crisis. And I listened to some extraordinary pearls revealed along the way. People are so resilient and by and large very good. Such shared humanity on a trip of a lifetime. I am grateful 🙏💕🌍
